Robot GIrl BiBi or DeeDee

I am trying to track down an older movie with a robot girl that looked human that was trying to protect a human boy - and of course ends up keeling lots of people.  In the end she gives up her "life" to save the boy.  Any ideas?????

I think you are looking for Deadly Friend (1986). I used to know a girl that looked just like the one on the cover of the VHS (though nothing like the girl in the movie).
