Cosmic Cinema presents the first in what we hope to be a new series of mildly silly, possibly humorous, tongue-in-cheek reviews starting with STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE .

Kester, thought you'd like to know: in IE, at least, the Amazon ad hangs over the first three lines of text, making them unreadable.

That's odd.  The ad is flushed to the right of the page when I view it and I'm using IE 6.  Hmm.  I've changed text size and encoding and it still views fine for me.

Fascinating.  I just went to view the page with Mozilla Firefox and it does exactly what you report above.

Can you check the page again with your version of IE and let me know what you see?

Anyone else having any problems?

I had the same problem with IE, don't know what version I'm using though.  A fairly new one I assume.

Oy!

Nothing I've tried fixes the problem when viewed in Mozilla and all the formating fixes I have tried to apply to the HTML are either stripped out or make it look worse.  Yet it still looks fine to me in IE!  If I knew how much time I'd be spending debugging HTML for basic formatting stuff I wouldn't have bothered with Blogger.  It's more work than wrangling Yahoo 360!

Sorry guys.  Blogger was a pain in the arse to generate a frame code that flushed to the right at all and I thought this one was working.  Looks like I'm going to have to do something else.  I'll probably just put in a link code with an image or just a plain HTML link.  This is a real pain as it means I can't use the HTML code Amazon provides, which means more work for me.

If anyone reading this is currently using Blogger I'm open to  tips/hints/suggestions on how to fix this.  Thanks.

Sorry I didn't get back immediately.  I'm experiencing the problem with IE 7.  And it's still there, although now I notice a white box overlapping it which I think may be the intended boundaries of the ad.
