Don't know the Zapped, but I think I did see "Meet the Applegates" decades ago -- I recall it's about a normal suburban family who are in reality aliens and/or giant bugs in disguise who eat their neighbors, but not all at once.  Man, I should probably track it down again, as I recall it sort of reminded me of "Serial Mom" in tone, but it's not a John Waters picture.

Yeah, I liked Meet the Applegates and it does have a similar tone to serial mom. I'm dying to see Meet the Feebles; unfortunately its unavailable through Netflix...

Oh how my Save Bin runeth over.....

Mmmmkay? As entertaining as off-topicism is, I think I'll mention I forgot for the longest time about Phantasm, then about a year ago I rediscovered it, and it's been one of my favoite horror-franchises ever since

For the latest on the fifth installment in Don Coscarelli's Phantasm saga.

Mr. Briggs Inc. how did you know it was Phatasm you forgot?

I vaguely recollect catching bits and pieces of movies on late night cable at friend's houses but, for the most part, I've forgotten 'em all.  A few scenes do stick out in memory.  Like this one movie about his college kid that seems to have a strange effect on women.  I remember he was being called in to a dean's office and, suddenly, she was topless...  then the clock struck midnight and the signal became a jumble.  Did I ever know what this movie was called?  Who knows.

OTOH I saw the WITCHES OF EASTWICK in the theatre and, blessedly, can't remember anything about it.  I claim the same amnesia about that weird desert movie that starred those two guys and this chick......

HEAVEN'S GATE gave me complete and total amnesia.  All I remember from it is haze and pain.

Let's see if we can't turn this thread to some constructive use.  Here'a screencap I collected from somewhere, problem is I just saved it into my DIR of unsorted screencaps and have no clue what it's from, any one recognize it?

Oh, yeah, here it is:

It's obviously from a Asian movie, probably Japanese, and most likely a comedy.  But what IS IT???

I have no idea, but I'd really like to know. :teddyr:

Kester, it's familiar... I'm so close to remembering it... I'll need a few more Japanese cheesecake pictures to jog my memory.  If they're too filthy for the board feel free to PM them to me.  In fact, the filthier they are, the more likely I am to remember.
