IRS Increases Mileage Tax Deduction by 16 Percent to 58.5 Cents

Ok I know there is a few self employed folks here and others that can write off mileage so here you go ...

For those of you in the US that claim mileage, starting JULY 1 thru DEC 31 the rate goes to 58.5 cents a mile. A jump of 8 cents a mile. Really doesn't keep up with the raise in fuel cost, but it's better than a kick in the teeth.
