Hadn't even heard of this film up until a few minutes ago, saw a link for it on IMDB.

Summary from imdb.com:

The American oil company KIC Corporation is building an ice road to explore the remote Northern Arctic National Wildlife Refuge seeking energy independence. Independent environmentalists work together in a drilling base headed by the tough Ed Pollack in a sort of agreement with the government, approving procedures and sending reports of the operation. When one insane team member is found dead naked on the snow, the environmentalist James Hoffman suspects that sour gases may have been accidentally released in the spot provoking hallucinations and insanity in the group. After a second fatal incident, he convinces Ed to travel with the team to a hospital for examination. However, weird events happen trapping the group in the base.

Some reviewers say it's a bit like The Thing meets Session 9.

No?  No, what?  No you haven't seen the film?  No, it's not really a cross between The Thing and Session 9?

Dude n/o, but that was one of the most vaguely pointless responses I've ever seen.

It was nothing like Session 9 or The Thing. It does look nice, gotta give it credit for that. Besides that I thought The Last Winter was pretentious drivel with some of the worst and laughably bad CGI seen in a recent movie. The same director also unleashed Wendigo a few years back. I still hurt thinking about Wendigo  :bluesad:

Torgo

I saw this for sale in Wally World last night while picking up some groceries (I always wander over in the electronics department for some reason  :tongueout: :teddyr: ).

I noticed that it had Ron Pearlman in it (who is one of my favorite actors) and it's gotten some good reviews so I might rent it sometime this wekend.

Deathfeast

I bought it from wally world the other night and I payed too much for it.
Its not horrible but I guess it is better than being bored and having nothing new to watch.
