American Migration patterns

I neat interactive map to show you the numbers moving into your county and out of it and to where.

This is a data from 2000-2005 and from what I can see we don't always move far, but a bunch of us move.

Just click on a area of interest and you can zero in on counties from there.

I live in Van Buern County,Michigan...hmmm....
Hilgado,eh? I would think Donna or Brownsville ,Texas.  Where I work, most of the Mexicans are from Donna. The ratio of mexicans to white people at my job is 90 to 1. But most of the Mexicans leave after the season and migrate down south. The white people stay here and work year round.

K-Zoo...yeh.....makes sense.   Ain't a lot of work here in the sticks, unless it's in the agricultural field. K-Zoo is the biggest city around. Which ain't saying much.
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)

Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

Checked it out and looked at my county here in New Jersey and where I grew up in Chemung County in New York State. There seems to be a lot of people moving to Maricopa, AZ from both area's. Maricopa, AZ is just South of Phoenix so I'm guessing the moves are work related or retirement related. Also I noticed with a little further research the home prices have dropped in that area by more than $100,000 recently.

Interesting, Cheeze.

What bothers me about migration from South Africa are the thousands of skilled workers who leave South Africa annually for the USA, Canada, the UK and Australia. We need those people here to help build a better South Africa.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.
