Coyote with mange would be my guess.  They get mistaken for Chupacabras quite a bit, since a lot of people aren't used to what coyotes look like with oozing sores in place of hair.

Chubacabra?  It was quite clearly a KILLER SHREW.  Don't these people watch movies?

You mean I've had a chupacabra in my home all these years???

Now that I think about it, he does look kind of vicious. See that look in his eye, as if to say "Are you a goat? No? Know where I can find a goat?" Creepy.
