Rev. Powell

Have you ever hired anyone for a job before?

Unless it's an entry level position, the "education" section of a resume is fairly irrelevant.  It's just there to establish that they meet the minimum requirements for the position.  It's what they do after graduating college that's relevant.

Harry S. Truman never graduated from college.  But most people think he made a very competent president.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Why do I get the feeling Sara shopped around for the college with the best parties?
Raw bacon is GREAT! It's like regular bacon, only faster, and it doesn't burn the roof of your mouth!

Happiness is green text in the "Stuff To Watch For" section.

James James: The man so nice, they named him twice.

"Aw man, this thong is chafing my balls" -Lloyd Kaufman in Poultrygeist.

Regardless of their education all politicians are posers and phonies. Unfortunately we only get a few choices for President. The country and the world has no goal. For what it's worth I have voted for George W. Bush in the past and now I'm leaning towards McCain/Palin. It's just like watching a football game. Yea.............

This country is going down the toilet and both are already trying to cover things up with this financial crisis. It will eventually have to balance out or else it simply won't matter. Maybe it doesn't matter. We here in the U.S. don't even produce anything of value to the world anymore. Our companies make money, but we the people aren't even involved. We are still living off the work of our recent past industries. Now days people think buying/investing in a home or investing in the stock market is the way to go. This is just basic shelter and will not make us a great nation. Investing in the stock market is nothing more than playing the horses at the racetrack.

If the nation needs a figurehead to lead it in a real crisis I don't think Obama could do it. He couldn't lead anything in my opinion. He appeared visually and mentally lost for weeks after McCain picked Palin.  Nobody is going to follow Obama in times of crisis. Obama would benefit with some military experience or background. Democrats don't have real respect for the military. Obama's cheerleaders will be silent in a time of real crisis. That is if you actually believe the whole two party snow job we have been given, so that we can feel as though we are freely making choices that matter.

For me it's more about what I perceive as big questions. Unfortunately people are creatures of comfort. The world is motivated by things visuallly and auditory until they go hungry. Only then if still able do the masses get out the pitch forks. I'm not saying McCain/Palin are the answer, but I always favor Republicans on the surface. Even though the Republicans are way off target of my own idea of how the world should be. They are closer to what I'm thinking internationally and that's why I vote for them.
