Happy Birthday, Herman Cohen!  He would have turned 83 today, August 27. He passed away in 2002.

If you are not familiar with the name, Herman Cohen is the man behind many of our favorite bad movies of the 50s, 60s and 70s, including I WAS A TEENAGE WEREWOLF, I WAS A TEENAGE FRANKENSTEIN, HOW TO MAKE A MONSTER, HORRORS OF THE BLACK MUSEUM, TARGET EARTH, BERSERK!, KONGA, TROG, and many more.

Since 2003 I have run a fan site dedicated to Herman Cohen and his films.  Now, I am happy to announce that HermanCohen.com has received a major upgrade. It's the best present I could give to one of my favorite filmmakers!

New features:
- More attractive and modern new look and feel
- Easier navigation
- Faster page loading times
- User friendly photo galleries
- Flash videos - quicker downloads with a bigger picture

If you've visited in the past, all of the same content you know and love is there (like Tom Weaver's terrific interviews with Herman), plus many new items.

What do you think? E-mail me at webmaster@hermancohen.com with any feedback. Also, if you happen to find any dead links (I did transfer over a LOT of content from the old site), please let me know.

Thanks,

Gerry Carpenter

Thanks Gerry, that's a cool site dedicated to one of the great schlockmeisters of all time.   Also, glad to see you still lurking around.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Is that you, Gerry? We missed you boy. Where've you been?

Gerry

Yep, it's me.  It's been a long summer...moving, buried at work, etc.  Haven't been online nearly as much as I used to.
