Pop ups?

I'm getting more, pop-up type ads on the main page.  The top banner ad opens up.  Is this supposed to happen? Or should I do some anti-spyware?

You should not be getting pop-ups. 

However, I think you are describing an expandable ad.  You might see expandable ads on the site that expand when the mouse moves over them.

I know that I've been getting a lot of expandable ads, my mouse always stays up to it the second I get on the site.

I use Ad Block pro a Firefox plugin and I never see an ad anywhere on any site.

I understand why people use blockers, but also know that if they become ubiquitous I do not know how the site will remain online.  For my part, I try to keep the ads from being annoying - hopefully they are not.
