Yes those pesky preachy greenies that are out to save the world and tell you how to live are not surprisingly some of the biggest users of carbon energy by taking long haul flights.

Why am I not even a tiny bit surprised?

Other than buying carbon offsets, what exactly do you suggest you should do if you are concerned about carbon footprints and your job wants to send you from point A to point B?

Well, if you REALLY believe in that cause....get a different job.

If you really care, don't go from point A to point B.

Frankly I don't care, I've been burning off corn fields this week ... 100's and 100's of acres up in flames. Hurricane Ike laid a lot of corn on the ground and the combine couldn't get it and the only way to kill it for winter wheat crops is to burn it off since it's Roundup Ready ... which means it's immune to RoundUp and ag herbicides will not kill it. I'd have fields of soybeans and corn in the same field next year ... not good.

So this week my carbon footprint is the size of a small country.

What really bugs me is all the hypocritical rich people telling me I should conserve water or take the bus, while they fly around in private jets, private limos, and (in the case of Al Gore) own FOUR mansions that suck up more power per day than an average house would in a year.
