Any thoughts would be great, I currently own around 50 Midnite Movies, its getting hard to decide what to buy next. Perhaps your thoughts can giude my dollars in the right direction. Cheers!!

If you don't already have it track down a cheap copy of Comedy of Terrors/The Raven; It's the only set I know of to have any actual special features on it.

Steer away from Twice Told Tales, they're terribly tepid :P

For the latest on the fifth installment in Don Coscarelli's Phantasm saga.

I assume you're talking about MGMs Midnite Movies line, and not midnight movies in general.

Best? It looks like they just released WITCHFINDER GENERAL (AKA THE CONQUEROR WORM); that's considered by many to be a classic, and Vincent Price's best film.  No double feature, though.

Worst?  How about ALIEN FROM LA, where Kathy Ireland acts so well she makes me not want to sleep with her?  I haven't seen the other half of the double feature, MORONS FROM OUTER SPACE, though.

I really like COMEDY OF TERRORS, didn't see it on the list at the site, though.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

I think that "Morons From Outer Space" is mostly a VERY silly little movie but the many overly inane scenes are oddly balanced by interesting elements of satire about fame, friendship and the notion of "Alienness". As daft as it is , the scene where Jimmy Nail explains to the human scientists what a pen is is actually pretty funny.
There are few things more beautiful than a sporting montage with a soft-rock soundtrack

Tnanks, thus far, keep it coming. Also YES I am speaking of MGM's Midnite Movies

I'm honestly not very impressed with their lineups.  I see lots of movies that look just mediocre, rather than good or bad/good.  That said, FOOD OF THE GODS is popular (I haven't seen it) and DERANGED/MOTEL HELL is an excellent double feature.  DERANGED is, of course, another Ed Gein cannibal film (and the most true to the real life Mr. Gein),  MOTEL HELL is, well, MOTEL HELL--a pig-headed man wielding a chainsaw, human heads planted in the garden like a crop of turnips--what's not to love?

Since you own 50 of them, why not tell us which ones you like?
