Actually that's # 99 Circus. And at # 100, I have to add the following. It's too important and influential to be ignored and who doesn't love those Halloween specials? - The Simpsons

Jase, I'm glad you nominated "The Simpsons".  I've been watching this thread, not participating, just waiting to see how long it would take someone to mention it.  I guess the fact that people forgot about it reflects how far the quality has sunk in the last few years.  Seasons 2-4 were by far the funniest, most subversive, and most clever program on TV at the time, and made all of the "adult" cartoons that followed marketable.
I was gonna nominate it, but honestly thought somebody did already.  In all honesty, the show still has good moments/episodes.  Nowhere near the quality it was during seasons 1-8, but better than other shows out there, like American Dad and Family Guy.  I like Family Guy, but wow.

I figured South Park would've made the list too.  The quality of shows they CONTINUALLY put out is great.

I know I missed the top 100 but thought I would add Felix the Cat.

I remember as a young kid watching Felix the Cat (the later version).  If I remember correctly he had a nemesis called the "Master Cylinder" too.

When I was in my 20's I went to a surrealism in animation festival and they showed a very bazaar one from the 1920's, I could not find that one on Youtube but I though this one was cool.

I seem to remember an episode of "Felix The Cat" from the 1990's that had extensive clips from "Gorgo" and a spaghetti western edited into the main storyline.
There are few things more beautiful than a sporting montage with a soft-rock soundtrack

I don't see why these things should be limited to an 100 but hey, that's just me.

I find that 100 is always enough to list all the good stuff, alot of lists don't even get finished too.

This remains one of the cleverest and funniest television programs ever produced.
If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.
