Are they putting his head in the microwave in that last scene?

Dunno about that, Trek but I do know I'll be putting my head down the toilet as this was made in South Africa ~ Cape Town to be exact.  :buggedout:

If God exists, why did he make me an atheist? Thats His first mistake.

This is one of the few remakes I will give a chance since Craven actually has some involvement in it.  At first, I was 100% against it, but I think I'm calming down a bit more.

Now, The Host remake on the other hand... Don't even get me started there.

If they re-make the Host I bet they change the ending... :hatred:

Well, they've supposedly already changed it to where it's based in New York instead of Korea, and I'm pretty sure they'll take out all of the political undertones.  Changing the ending wouldn't be much more of a stretch.

They love removing political undertones. Look at what happened to dawn of the dead and day of the dead for example. All meaning was lost.

Now this remake I am quite excited about but I am being won over by the trailer which has lead me to see s**t films before (Black sheep and Slither for examples)
"We think too small, like the frog at the bottom of the well. He thinks the sky is only as big as the top of the well. If he surfaced, he would have an entirely different view."Mao. "At the risk of seeming ridiculous, let me say that the true revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love. It is impossible to think of a genuine revolutionary lacking this quality." Ernesto Che Guevara. "A lie told often enough becomes the truth" Lenin. "Religion is the opium of the masses." Marx.

I could not stand them but I had higher expectations, I was ready for either a great B movie or a great comedy horror. I was let down.

I really should try watching them again but.... still ...

Rewatched the trailer for last house on the left. It looks very good.

Saying that I have rewatched the trailer again. It shows the death scenes of all the murderers or almost all of them. Still hard to say if the film will be any good. Still worth a shot.

It will be better than the original, for sure.  How could it not be?  The original was an amatuerish production that got by on shock value alone.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...
