Deep in the Woods

Just saw this one last night. PUKE. Deep in the Woods started out fine...looked like the same, safe tried and true slasher formula. Nubile young people, trapped in a creepy mansion,(yup) in the woods, crazed killer offing them one at a time.Plus they were French, which really made it much more enjoyable for me. Anyways somewhere along the line it went horribly wrong. How could you muck up a movie that had a Nail gun in it? Well....for starters performance art!!!! Then a kinda weird homo-erotic undertone (and there's nothing wrong with that)..and did I mention they were French? OY!!!

What a pity. Those french have released quite a bunch of good B-movies lately. Have you seen "The purple rivers" yet? It's f**kin' great. Try the link if you don't know what I'm talking about.
