Body Left To Rot In Hearse

I know times are tough but did this guy really need to go this far in an effort to collect for his services. Living in Alabama where this happen, I know the state would of helped him recover his losses and buried the body for free without him having to resort to keeping it in a hearse for two months.

Sound like the guy a few years back who was stash piling bodies and giving relatives false ashes.

Is this the one iin Oregon?  An acquaintece of mine was an investigator on that case.
