There is really one one complaint I have about Gamera 3 *spoilers*

After the awesome Gamera: Guardian of the Universe was topped by Gamera 2 I remember being really excited to hear that Gamera 3 was even better. That was years ago and I remember feeling let down by G3. I re-watched it last night and found it a lot more spectacular and appreciated much more the character dynamics. I think the battle between Gamera and Gyaos is easily one of the most realistic portrayls of how much damage is brought and lives lost when two monsters battle.

But still, though it has quality over quanity, I wish there was more Gamera (love the scary look) and could have used a few more minutes of monster action. G2 is my favorite but G3 is the best.

I doubt anyone on the boards remembers me but I guess watching a B-movie made me decide to poke my head out.

I couldn't agree more.  I liked the movie, but I left wondering why Gamera and Iris didn't battle it out sooner.  I know it's a formulaic way to take a kaiju flick, but what else do we watch kaiju flicks for?

I didn't like the reveal that it was Gyoas and not Gamera ultimately responsible for the one characters family's death.  I thought it was a bit of a cop out.

I ended up liking it.  Irisis was a cool looking monser, and I loved the effect scenes..
