Question for Deep Rising fans...

I just got the DVD from the Netherlands as it was cheaper than the British DVD and, as sometimes they do small edits on continental DVDs, I was wondering if I was missing any sequences or if it's just poor filmmaking.

The first bit that bugs me:

In an underwater sequence, after the henchmen is killed, you see Kevin O' Connor escape through a hatch in the kitchen which is then slammed shut by the films heroes. In the shot before he gets to it, there is no Famke Janson in the kitchen, and afterwards she's there in the room with them. I'm thinking " How on Earth did she get there ? Surely she's still underwater". One moment she's not there and then she magically turns up. I'm thinking the film is missing a shot of when she gets out the water....

The second bit :

Kevin J. O'Connor are Wes Studi are in the corridor then the monster attacks, the next time we see them Kevin he has a piece of cloth around his leg and is hobbling along. I'm wondering: am I missing a bit when he gets injured and has to fix his leg ?

Now, what really bugs me is I don't know if these are the DVD's problem or the directors.

If it's the sequnce I'm thinking of, Keven and Wes are running through the corridor talking about how to escape the monster's tentacles.  Kevin says the only way to slow them down is to feed them.  Wes then shoots Kevin in the leg so the tentacles will grab him, giving Wes time to esacpe.
