I remember a movie with monkey like creatures that came out in the night and would eat people. I think the title was something like ancient ancestors or ancient decendents. If you know what movie this is please let me know, thanks.

Perhaps BLEEDERS? The USA title for TV was DESCENDANTS.

At least two other movies have been based on the same H.P. Lovecraft story ... one of them is called "The Final Descendant".  (Sort of like the title you remember.)

Akiratubo, my wife will be very happy if your right. We are going to check them out on youtube tonight. I have seen bleeders and she said it wasn't the one. I checked out the other two you suggested earlier today and it fits what she described she saw about 10 to 12 years ago.
