I watched this as a child (although I am hesitant to do any form of calculation that will actually reveal that I was much older than their target demographic) and had fond memories of it. I got it for Xmas and was relieved to learn that it wasn't much worse than I remember, which is often the case (I am gutted that I watched an episode of The Littlest Hobo a few years ago).

It is great. It has an excellent cast of characters, often-daft plots that it pulls off (the main element of one plot in which the main character finds himself in "reality" and his life so far is just false has been used in Buffy, Charmed and probably loads of other shows since), drama and a quirkiness that rivals Dead Like Me and Pushing Daisies.

Did anyone else watch this?
Where the hell is that soothing music coming from?

I think it used to be on Channel 4.

I loved it!

Eerie was great.  Never saw it in it's original run on NBC, but rather years later when FoxKids reran it on Saturday mornings.  Good stuff.  Didn't know it was on dvd, though.

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.

Aye, it is - my mother bought it me for Christmas for £17, I think.

I'm gonna look for it next time I hit the store.

I got it on next flix but they only offer a few episodes. I loved it as a child as well and also was relieved it was still good after all these years.

Great show. I miss it. The only episode I can remember clearly is the one where the kid sets his clock back during Daylight Savings even though the town has forbidden it, and thusly gets sucked into an alternate time displaced dimension populated by no one but himself, some girl he ends up rescuing, and a creepy milkman who turns out to be... bum bum BUM... himself!

It was nifty. Whereas Are You Afraid Of The Dark was like Tales From The Crypt for kids, this was almost like Twilight Zone for kids.

On a vaguely related note, does anybody else remember Nightmare Cafe?
