So this has been driving me mad for years.

When i was rather young i recall my dad renting some alien flick and me trying to more or less stealthly watch it from the kitchen door.

I remember seeing what seemed like a rather normal looking guy walk into an apartment and then remove the top of his skull and pull down his face revealing him to infact be an alien.

Ive been trying to figure out forever what movie that was because it scared me so much at the tender age of 7.

Thats all i remember about it becuase at that point i had already ran back to my room and crawled into bed terrified.

And clues as to what movie it is?

So we're talking around 1993 or so, right? (Or did you lie about your age in in your profile  :teddyr:) Do you remember if it was color or b/w?
Raw bacon is GREAT! It's like regular bacon, only faster, and it doesn't burn the roof of your mouth!

Could be Strange Invaders.

Here's a video of a Siskel & Ebert review. You can see the "face pull" scene at the 3:00 mark.

I haven't actually seen this movie, except for that exact scene, which also terrified me as a child.
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.
