Martial arts choreography, especially weapon-fu, is a almost high art.  Very few independent films manage to pull it off.  I guess the question is: is this one of them?

Really, its ninjas vs freakin' zombies; on Halloween!

You WANT to see this, and you CAN find childacre.  The kids are sleeping at Midnight.  Or, you CAN make that party - the first screening is done by 11:30.

What?  Do we need to send the zombie army to drag you there? HUH???!!!
Breathe...breathe.

Whats that, you say?  NINJAS vs what?

It's a homegrown indy filmed right here in Northern VA.  Part "Evil Dead", part "Clerks", part "Buffy", part "Bourne Identity", with some "Harry Potter", a twist of vermouth and a lime chaser - uh, wait...

Funny, Violent, a Rollercoaster; with GOBS of local talent - and international appeal.

Seven friends, struggling with late 20s, early 30s life, find themselves in terrifying danger when a long-dead loved one is magically resurrected and starts devouring souls.  To make matters worse, three of them have been granted the power of the ninja, and now must lead the fight against a power they cannot hope to vanquish.  If they fail, the undead will overrun their little town, and maybe the world.

What follows is a whirlwind of magic, swordplay, hand to hand combat, gunfire and simmering sarcasm. From high flying flips to a full-on melee, from a claustrophobic last stand to a Star-Wars worthy katana battle, NINJAS VS ZOMBIES is a chilling, laugh out loud, edge of your seat adventure.

Meet the Cast and Crew, ask us questions, take locks of our hair and clone us, just be there.

I saw this on a couple of other sites. It looked "bad" but still like a lot of very cheesy fun. I'd watch it.

Hey, I was just at Trek Expo in Tulsa, OK over the weekend and Justin Timpane, the director/producer of this, had a booth there.  I asked him to check out Badmovies.org.

Of course I did plop down $10 for the movie (one my worst investments).

It looks exactly like what it is, a guy got a bunch of his friends together and made a zombie movie.  There is a plot, but I missed some of it (fell asleep).

Justin does manage some good effects for an ultra low budget film.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

A convention...in TULSA!!  God, I miss going to those.  I think I went to the major convention there every year for 6 years running back in the 70's and early 80's.

Sorry, just had to vent a little nostalgia.
