R.I.P. Ed McMahon

Ed McMahon has passed away at 86.

Most remember him as Johnny Carson's sidekick, Clearing House Sweepstakes pitchman, hosting Star Search and TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes, and, most recently, for pursuading folks to mail in their unwanted gold. 

I'll also remember him as the narrator of DAUGHTER OF HORROR. That's his voice you hear in the movie the audience watches before getting eaten up by THE BLOB.

Sad news although he did live a long and interesting life.  I personally remember him more for Star Search and TV Bloopers And Practical Jokes than the Tonight Show.
