admit it, some of you watched this on FMC yesterday.    I thught it was pretty good if very low budget and not that original.  Peter Graves has only been in awesome sci fi b movies as far as I can tell and is superb in this one.  I liked the premise too.  It's one of the only sci fi movies I can think of where the end of the world happens because of some random sun activity,  NOT because of man's inhumanity to man or disrespect of the environment or whatever.  Did you know he attended the university of minnesota?

you can watch the whole thing

I remembered seeing that when I was a kid, and finally caught it again a few months ago.  If it stuck with me that long, it must have had something going for it.  Pretty good movie, it's always nice to see something that isn't the usual cookie-cutter crap they churn out by the dozens these days.

I didn't watch it on FMC yesterday, but I sure as hell saw it on TV when I was a kid.  I used to love watching these cheesy TV movies back in the 70s.  Mill Creek has a 50 movie pack with a bunch of mostly made-for-TV movies in it.  I watched one a couple weeks ago called THE SHELL GAME starring John Davidson (!) as a con artist.
"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Interesting.  I'm surprised I never heard of that movie before.  I'll have to check it out sometime.

FMC only has about 2 dozen movies they run so I'm sure it will be on again.
