I think  some of these downright necessary.

 Hell, you never know when you might need some knife fighting ninja skills while you're trying to get your close range bear killing gun out of you compression gunderwear.  

And heck fire you might need to know how to self administer that heroine to treat the pain of that trebuchet you built back-firing on you.
