Can anyone help with this funny horror movie??

Hi all, I'm new here and I'm *hoping* someone has seen this horror movie before....not sure what year it was made, but I'm guessing 80's or 90's. And I'm really sorry but this is going to be a really vague and cloudy description because I'm trying to remember it as best as I can...but it's been YEARS since I've seen it.

So I guess what happens in the beginning is this construction company (I think) wants to build either houses or some type of property, and while they're preparing to start the construction work, they wake up this zombie-monster guy who was dead. This dead guy is so ridiculous looking and the way he walks is just classic....really slow and methodical, almost like he's dancing when he walks or something. So at one point in the movie, he walks in the middle of the street in front of a vehicle (I'm thinking it was either a bus or a van, and I *think* it was either yellow or orange)....so the vehicle swerves to miss this monster guy standing in the middle of the road, and it flies off the edge of the cliff....and I swear you could actually see the toy car fly off, it was so corny looking. Oh and every time someone sees this monster dead guy, they say his name because they know exactly who he is....because there's some kind of legend about him. So I believe all throughout the movie, he runs around (or rather dances) around town killing people......and I don't think this movie is supposed to be a comedy, I think it's supposed to be a horror flick, but it's just so insanely rotten that it ends up being hilarious.

Ok and I think I'm remember another part in the movie where the monster guy is upstairs in this house (or maybe it was a barn or shed, not sure) and he was killing this other guy.....you could see their silhouettes through the window, and you could clearly see him chopping this guy up with an ax or something.....blood is flying everywhere.....and the poor guy is even screaming I believe.....meanwhile an acquaintance of the guy-getting-butchered is watching the whole scene from outside down below the house....and he's yelling up at his friend, and he says "hey (guy's name) are you alright??" in such a corny, scripted sounding voice. He's asking his friend if he's alright when he clearly sees his friend being massacred by the monster guy, with blood flying everywhere......oh my gosh it was so funny lol.

So I know that was a horrible description but that's the most I can remember....so hopefully someone here has seen it before??

Are you talking about "Return of the living dead?" Tar man walks like he is dancing. Kinda like the thriller video.

Sounds a little like "CHUD 2: Bud the Chud". Despite the title, it is NOT a sequel to CHUD, it's a zombie comedy. Much of the movie is taken up by the titular zombie walking around town and turning people into zombies.

Don't know what movie it is, but I can help with the other problem. In the top part of your post should be 3 icons. Quote, Modify, Remove. You can use the modify one to edit your posts.

New visitors have this disabled to prevent spammer accounts from creating posts, then later on going back to edit them to add spam links. We were having a problem with that.

im going with akiraturbo, chud 2 is a very likely candidate.

EDIT: actually now that i read it again, Rawhead Rex is my vote.
