80s mutant tv show

I don't remember if this is a television series or a TV movie.  Pretty sure it was a series.  It was about a group of young people that each have special abilities like mutants.  There was one tall guy that would touch the back of his head and becomes small, helps him pick locks.  There was one guy that supposed to be a James Dean type, wore sunglasses and leather jacket, he can shoot lightning bolts from his arms and run fast like the flash.  There was a troubled young girl thatgrabs her hair the the screen becomes a negative images for a couple seconds showing that she has telekinetic abilities.  The leader was a normal person that reminded of Michael J Fox, but I can't find any official records connecting him to this.  I have never gotten close to to finding out what the name of this was any takers?

I ask myself the same question about Shadow.  Plus, I wonder if he knows what evil dwells in the heart of man?
