Cowboy Killer

Yeah, this is a shameless plug. The movie is called Cowboy Killer. It's a low-budget independent horror/comedy movie made by my friends in Winchester, VA. It's a about a  psychopathic man who fancies himself as a cowboy and kills people. For a low-budget independent film, it's actually pretty good. It's watchable at least. Yeah, it has bad acting and  bad special effects, but the characters are funny and enjoyable. The film makers knew that they were making a "bad" movie, so the movie doesn't take itself seriously. It's a fun little film. It has a commentary track which is just as funny as the movie itself.

Oddly enough, I somehow got wrangled into doing a cameo in this movie. I'm not an actor, so my role is pretty bad. Thankfully it wasn't a large part. I play a movie theater manager. At the time, that was my job in real life. Thus, it wasn't too hard of a role for me the play. LOL. Please note, I'm not being paid in any shape, way, or form. I did not get paid for my role nor am I getting paid to promote this film. (Actually, I don't feel like I'm promoting this film to you guys, but more notifying you that there is an enjoyable new indy horror/comedy movie to watch.)  I just thought I would tell you guys about this film, since 1) we all like bad movies, and 2) you might enjoy this type of movie.

You can rent the movie at netflix.com or, if you are truly an independent film collector, you can buy it at amazon.com. Again, it's actually a pretty good movie made by a bunch of amateur filmmakers with a shoestring budget. Most of the time these type of movies are crap, but this one is an enjoyable experience.
