My computer won't let me log in...

I'll say up front that the problem is most likey on my end-but I can't figure out why. I have to go to a public computer to post this.

When I tried logging in from my home computer it tells me it won't let me and to check the cookies for this site.  I can view the site fine, but I can't log in.

I never changed any of these setting on my own computer.  One day I could log in fine, and the next I couldn't.  I tried allowing/and not allowing the cookies on my computer, but I still can't get in.

Like I said, I'm betting the problem is on my end. But I'm letting you know, in case anyone else is having problems. Or get some suggestions on what to try to change. 

Also I wanted to be sure I wasn't banned for some reason.

Same here, That just started 2 days ago though.  

1st - I got to let the site tell me wrong password by hitting just enter on log in - dont type user name or password yet, just hit enter ... next check the aways stay logged on button, next hit enter again ...

Same screen - Then I can log in the normal way after all that ...

I use Maxthon browser but the normal IE does the same thing.

After I get the log part to look like this I can log on.



Try and see if that helps you WingedSerpent.

Update ... after doing that for 2 days I just did it the normal way again and now im ok ...
Maybe it was just a temporary thing?

Good tip, and maybe that can help WingedSerpent.  About two days ago I upgraded the forum software on the server.  I wonder if the sudden issue is related.

Deleting the old forum cookie might work too.  Just look for a cookie named:  Badmovies_forum_cookie
