Check out Rotten Tomatoes new Worst of the Worst list.
It lists the top 100 movies of the last decade.

I still haven't seen Ballistic: Ecks Vs. Sever.
It sounds terrible!

Any thoughts?

I've heard of Ballistic: Ecks Vs. Sever and man, it sounds like it blows beyond all belief.

There are actually a couple of movies from that list that I actually like surprisingly!  Like Christmas with the Cranks (Seriously, I can up with 20 other worse movies this decade that aren't on the list that are worse than this), Family Johnson Vacation, and Master of Disguise (Got to rewatch that at some point).

I honestly don't think Battlefield Earth is that bad.  In fact, I don't think it's bad at all.
Kneel before Dr. Hell, the ruler of this world!

Pilgermann

I don't think I've seen most of those, but I wouldn't include A Sound of Thunder.  It's pretty bad but it has its own weak charms.

Keep in mind that their list is just based on the reviews and averages that they've accumulated, so there's not much actual thought put into it.  Oh, and isn't a bit premature to make a list of the last decade's films when 2009 isn't over?

The fact that New York Minute or Cat in the Hat aren't on there is depressing.  Maybe they didn't have enough reviews...?

For what that list is (mainstream theatrically released films of the past 10 years) I didn't see any on there that I've seen I would really disagree on.

I will say I found both In the Name of the King and Bloodrayne entertaining though..  But, Alone In the Dark is easily a worse film than Ecks VS Sever.

On a related note, the Ecks VS Sever video game (first person shooter on the Game Boy Advance) is actually pretty good.

Just looking at the box art for most of those should be enough to scare people away - far away!

Are there any Hollywood comedies that didn't make the list?

I don't see alot of recent movies.  Swept Away #65 is the worst of the ones I've seen.  It 's like if you gave someone 40 million dollars to remake "Die hard" with you as the lead and expected people to go see it

Darn! I'm watching the wrong films. I haven't seen any of 'em. Oh, wait a minuite! I did see "Corky Romano." It wasn't that good, but it wasn't the worst neither, and 5% of the critics agreed with me.

I will say this about the list. Alot of the films on it, many of which I've never even heard of, let alone seen, sound alot more interesting, than the critical faves out there.

Rev. Powell

I haven't seen a single one of those, and other than the Uwe Boll's, and maybe BATTLEFIELD EARTH and ECKS V. SEVER for the train-wreck factor, I'm not interested.  Most of those look like "bad-bad" movies, not "good-bad" movies.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

I will give Karma to someone if they watch all the movies on the last page...

I think I'd die trying.  :teddyr:

I actually watched Corky Romano the other night.  It gave me at least one laugh.  The part where the guy who plays Big p***y on the Sopranos takes a kid's dead mouse and gives him a new one saying it needed a new liver.  Side note, I kind of liked The New Guy.

Uwe Boll did do a wonderful job of cleaning up.

Ha!  Joke's on you!  I enjoyed King's Ransom and I could watch it a couple of more times.

As for Ballastic: Ecks vs. Sever, I have been considering a review on it for a while now.  That piece of crap truely deserves an once over.
