So I want to know is anybody else following Stargate:Universe? If not good for you. I've spent 9 hours of my life watching this show and I can never get those back. I should be repaid for the time lost watching this show hopeing for something to happen. This show is just insanely boring with awful writing. Its like "days of are lives" on a space ship but half the time people are running around on earth even though there trapped billions of miles away. Don't ask me to explain how that works but it involves stones. This weeks episode "Life" just killed he show for me and I'm no longer watching it.
Sorry if I just sound like another nerd who has just watched one of his favorite franchises go in the toilet but damn't I am a nerd.
Smells like popcorn and shame

Newt

We feel the same way.  I was sceptical about the whole "Stargate: Battlestar/Voyager" pastiche from the outset, but we gave it a chance...and last night's episode pretty much killed it.  Rush was the only interesting character and now that any doubt as to whether he is a 'good guy' or 'bad guy' is gone, it is nothing but dull.
"May I offer you a Peek Frean?" - Walter Bishop
"Thank you for appreciating my descent into deviant behavior, Mr. Reese." - Harold Finch

Jack

I only made it through about 3 episodes.  They keep cutting away from the story and giving us a bunch of flashbacks (?)...I don't even know what they are.  But they're boring as hell and absolutely killed my interest in it.  Too bad, I enjoyed Stargate and Stargate Atlantis, but this thing is just a big turd.

Way too much soap opera, you can see the love triangles forming.     I wish they would ditch the communicator stones (only Lou Diamond Phillips would lose his part).

I would like to see a real adventure about survival for once.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

The Burgomaster

Other than re-runs of the original STAR TREK series, I try to avoid watching anything with "star" in the title.
