A few days late, but legendary American singer Etta James passed away on January 20th, succumbing to leukemia at the age of 73. Like many artists of her time and place, she had her life problems, but she was a fearless artist who often defied categorization. A truly gifted singer with a tremendous voice who continued to perform right up to the age of 71.

She sang this on the "Tomorrow" show with Tom Snyder back in '80; outdid the Eagles.

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.
