I'm going to be gone for a week on a trip!  My parents invited me to go with them as they visit their timeshare in Branson, MO.  I'm going to have half the thing all to myself for a week.  It should be pretty interesting, I haven't had a vacation in a looong time so I'm hopefully gonna be able to get away and just relax for awhile.  I must admit, I do wish I had someone I was taking with me (like a girlfriend or something) but still...

I just hope everything goes okay, I'm worried I'm gonna start getting bored or anxious mid-week and wish I hadn't agree to stay the entire week up there, but guess that's just my nerves.  I've got this problem sometimes with worrying about too many "what ifs".

Meantime, the hotel I work at will have to fend for itself for a while.  I'm told the OWNER is actually going to take a 2nd and 3rd shift during the week I'm gone.  Ha, THAT should be interesting.  The guy, rarely, if ever works front desk.  Usually he just does "manager" stuff in the back and takes care of behind the scene business and maintenance issues.  Hoping he'll come away with a better appreciate for what we do everyday.

Course, dunno, knowing my luck, I'll get back and Stefanie (my co-worker who does third shift when I'm off) will be telling me, "Man, Mike, this week was SO annoying... Wednesday night a tour bus carrying the Dallas Cowboy  cheerleaders broke down a mile from our hotel and we had to check them all in for several nights.  On the second night they were here, I'd forgotten to lock the pool  and I walked away from my desk for ten minutes and when I came back all of them were in there skinny dipping.  I had to walk in there and personally kick them out..."

Anyway, dunno if i'll have access to the internet, or, even if I do, if I'll be posting much.

Just wanted to wish everyone well, and say, "I'll see ya again soon!"

Have a great trip!  When I looked at the thread title, I was afraid you were losing your Internet for a while, since you had said something about that before.  Glad to see it's something positive instead.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

I have no problem with women like that, but they usually don't like me and their husbands are usually big and mean-looking.
