A cat named Sal has been summoned for jury duty and the owners can not get the courts to let it out of the summons. Is Boston that hard up for people to respond to jury duty that they are now getting pets to serve as jurors? Will the cat be held in contempt when it goes after a bit of dangling string? Can it's jury vote be bought with catnip?
