This one is tough!!! ill be amazed if you get this one!!!

This movie was late 70's early 80's time frame. The thing that makes it tough is that i dont remember much just one spotty scene... anyways, it was a horror flic and I want to say it was about a kid who turn into a beast. The scene i remember was a woman in her kitchen prepareing meat for diner (they really focused on the meat/hamburg cuz it was bloody and nasty looking. anyway they showed scenes of her thru the window then it came in thru the door and slaughtered her. .......... and thats all i can remember but i want to see it again to see the entire movie.  the only other thing i can think of is that "BEAST" was in the title.. please help thanks guys

Rawhead Rex has the scene of the woman preparing a meal with detailed close ups of disgusting raw meat, and the monster does burst in on her.  However, she does not get slaughtered.  The monster sees that she's pregnant, feels of her belly, and then ... it cuts to another scene.

Skip to about 5:30 to watch the whole scene from the beginning.  Close ups of meat starting around 6:50, the monster finally breaks in and starts terrifying the wife around 8:35.  You'll have to go to the start of part 3 to see him look at her belly and wander off.

that seen looks very close but the monster was real looking and wolf like so i dont think thats it. thank you for your input though.

My suggestion is:  "The Beast Within" (1982).  The teenage boy turns into a creature that usually looks a bit like the first stages of someone becoming a werewolf,.  There are scenes with blood splatter, and at least one person dies in a kitchen.

Andrew i looked it up on youtube and your right. I was thrown off abit by the werewolf resemblance at the end...... plus he was still a human during that kitchen seen, but the kitchen seen is definatley it. Thanks for your reply it made my day.

From the "feel" of the description, I'd also guess "The Beast Within". Apparently the transformation
from human to Cicada is quite painful. Also, when your'e alone in the bayou, watch out for raping cicadas!!

Happy viewing!  It's available as a Midnite Movies DVD double feature (flipper DVD) with "The Bat People" on the other side.  Netflix should carry it, or it's usually $10 or less to buy.
