Your thoughts?  I wouldn't mind the banned of that since it is pretty disgusting stuff.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Who cares? Let the kid's lazy ass parents keep an eye on what their kids are doing with their cellphones. (Put them on a family plan; check records of cell phone usage. Phone companies have ever text, phone call, and file transfer between phones on file after all.) There are far worse problems in our country than kids sending dirty texts and tit-shots to one another on their cells.

Completely unenforceable.  And therefore a total waste of tax payer time and dollars.

Unenforcable and a breach of our rights.  I'm against it.  I think it's disgusting, but I think there are much more pressing issues amongst teens than this.

I agree that it'd be a breach of our first amendment rights Joe. Funny how this country is supposed to be a bastion of freedom in the world, yet we have so many forms of censorship....

The problem is, if a teen girl sends nude pictures of herself to a 20 year old, he can face child porn charges . . . at the same time, I agree that such a law would be pretty much impossible to enforce.  How about everybody just raise their kids with a knowledge of right and wrong?

Believe it or not, if a teen girl or guy takes a picture of THEMSELF nude, he or she can face child porn possession charges.  So we have a situation where two people can legally have sex in any way they want, but if they take pictures or video, it's a felony.

Funny how the law works sometimes.

Happened in this town.  Everyone raised a stink about it on both sides.  A fireman had sex with a 16-year-old, which is right at the legal age of consent here.  He also took pictures of her and faced huge charges.

I really wish they had this around when I was a teen.  Back in my day we had Poloroids and they were impossible to come by. :bluesad:

I agree. You can pass a law to ban sexting, but it is pretty much unenforcable.

They have done studies to see who does sextext, and, at least in the studies I've seen, boys sextext more than girls, which took me by surprise. Or, maybe we should say that boys will more readily admit to sexting than girls.
