Showgirls (1995)

MGM has announced Showgirls, in a "15th Anniversary Sinsational Edition" Blu-ray featuring its NC-17 131-minute uncut version, with a street date of June 15. Writer Joe Eszterhas and director Paul Verhoeven followed up their smash hit Basic Instinct by upping the exploitation ante with this look at the world of Vegas showgirls, which was a critical and box-office failure but went on to earn somewhat of a cult status in home video.

I know not many here are into Blu-ray but reading these news today made me shriek with excitement.
One of the greatest Bad Movies made is coming to Blu-ray! How great is that? Hilarious badness in stunning HD. It doesn't get better than that

Full frontal Elizabeth Berkley nudity in 1080p? Yes please!

This movie was terrible but it's worth watching for a laugh now and then. Should be interesting to see if they make a new high def master for the blu ray instead of just using the existing master that was used for the V.I.P. and Fully Exposed standard def releases.
