Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha........ hahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Oh man, that was a classic. It's always funny watching kids' cartoons try to tackle the vampire concept. Because they can never show any explicit "fang on neck" action, it's great seeing how they get around the idea, whether it be the 90s Spider-Man cartoon making Morbius absorb "plasma" from people through suckers on his hands or, well, African ghouls who shoot lasers out of their f*cking teeth... THEY SHOOT LASERS OUT OF THEIR F*CKING TEETH, PEOPLE!

Awesome RC, karma for that one, heh heh.

I applaud Batman and Robin for patrolling the entire African continent, but they must have somehow bypassed Uganda during their westward sweep.

Great cartoon RC!

Please Grunge, everybody knows that wholesale rape and slaughter and machine gun wielding children aren't up to Batman and the Super Friends to fix. VAMPIRES WHO SHOOT LASERS OUT OF THEIR F*CKING TEETH, now that's more Batman's speed... well, in the '60s it would've been.

Whoa, that vampiress was stacked.  I didn't remember any of the women on the old cartoons being drawn that way, not even Wonder Woman.

Also, that was forking hilarious.

Great...just geat!

Just how do you "brace yourself to be ejected" when you're both sitting on a bench seat?

I love the shameless use of the 'bionic' sound effect for the vampire-transformations.

Sew them up with the Bat-Stitchers?  Followed by, I imagine, some jazzing up with the Bat-BeDazzler!  :tongueout:

This was a suggested link in the corner of the YouTube page, another SuperFriends episode:
Apache Chief and Big Foot...

Even Superman is not immuned from hammy corniness(or is that corny hamminess)..."It's the Justice League frequency...It's Apache Chief...he must be in BIG trouble!"    :bouncegiggle:  Priceless!

As dated as these episodes feel now(and I watched them faithfully, oh don't doubt that, as a 70s child) they still have a real creepy quality to them.

The sequence with Apache Chief being overwhelmed by the "small" Big Foots(Big Feet?) really troubled me with it's disturbing similarity to Kim Darby's fate in DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK.

That's my driver's license picture....I hate that picture!"

Ha! Just as I always suspected...Bigfoot IS from outer space! I'm not so crazy after all! HAHAHAHA!  :twirl:

THANKS,SUPERFREINDS!!!

Ken Begg at Jabootu has a project going where he critically reviews Superfriends episodes.  Its a good read.

Remember the episode SUPERFRIENDS RIP? where the LEGION OF DOOM was using this deadly element to murder the SUPERFREINDS it was later learned they used robots or the episode HISTORY OF DOOM when the LEGION OF DOOM acuialy destroy civilization and the aliens come to the devistated earth we see the ruins of many cities or the episode where that witch summons that evil entity that mast have been satan himself

Very few shows have had me going like this  :buggedout: as much as this series, certainly there's few other cartoons...at times I'm more like this -  :bouncegiggle: . It definitely has its moments although I hated a lot of the additions they made for the show such as Marvin, Wendy, Wonderdog, The Wonder Twins and Gleek and those cheesy PC Apache Chief, Black Vulcan, El Dorado, Rima the Jungle Girl and Samurai just to have a more racially diversive cast.  They always felt like such token additions at best and played to virtually every racial stereotype one might expect.

Still I have to admit to loving the show as a kid and some episodes are actually surprisingly good, others are terrible but nonetheless undeniably entertaining due to their overall bizarreness. And bizarre seemed almost the norm with the Super Friends.
