What's the point ?

When Rob Zombie remakes The Blob, it's probably time just to give up on the world.

I remember someone brought this up a while ago and it is as stupid as I remember.  Now I'm not saying a remake of The Blob is a bad thing (The 80s version was still a fun sci-fi flick), but he does not seem like the best man for the job in remaking it.

Good news.

This idea got s**t canned months ago, he said he doesn't want to be the horror remake guy. Can't find a source right now but it's true, said it in some interview.

I'm with you on that a 100%. He made TDR and immediately went on to do Halloween, which was good but imagine what could have followed after that brilliant flick. Devil's Rejects is up to this day (to me) the only real 70s looking exploitation film with the exact same atmosphere as the 70s exploitation movies.

Would love to finally T-Rex, I really hope that doesn't turn into a comic for budget reasons.
