Been thinking about setting up some kind of two-way voice communication. I work alone, and often find myself doing tasks that take time but not a lot of concentration. Would be nice to use a Bluetooth headset and carry on a conversation with somebody.

I've heard the name and I believe software came pre-installed on my last laptop, but honestly I'm not sure what it is.  Is it just a way to convert your computer into a telephone?  If so, what's the advantage over a regular phone?
