It's a sad story and all, but I'll be damned if this isn't the most ironic thing to happen this year besides the segaway incident!

And once more fact meets fiction. Back in 1967 in the TV movie "Winchester 73," which was a remake of the theatrical film of the same title from 1950, a man is ran over and killed by a hearse.

In the 1978 film "Avalanche" w/ Rock Hudson, Mia Farrow, and Robert Forster, one of the minor characters is supposedly hit and killed by an ambulance.
