There isn't much that hasn't already been said about this masterpiece. If you watch the interview with Jon Mikl Thor on the DVD it's easy to see why this movie is a complete mess. Thor is so into keeping himself in any kind of limelight, that all of the 80 million projects he's working on seem to suffer. Thor is from the Ed Wood school, overly ambitious, short attention span and little if any attention to detail. There are some extreme Ed Wood-like continuity errors like the drummer's ever changing accent. Thor even admits that the killer birds were thrown at him and he had to catch them, and also that he had to hold up the monster prop during the fight scene. I don't think these were as much budget concerns as they were due to lack of pre-planning. Still one must enjoy this movie for what it is, alot of fun. It does show in the work that they just wanted to make a fun movie and you can't knock 'em for that. "Rock and Roll Nightmare" is still light years better than some of the films I've seen with much bigger budgets. It represents a moment in time when things weren't so serious and the world was all about sex, drugs and rock and roll, and for that I thank Jon Mikl Thor.
