Killer Weed

I have a feeling this might be a lost cause.

I looked it up and there's a movie called Killer Weed from 2007, and that's not the one I'm talking about here. Back in the early 90's, I went to a guy's house in Huntington Beach, California. I think I was responding to a classified ad for some music equipment he was selling, if I remember. Anyway, he was a film student and had just recently completed an intentionaly b-movie called Killer Weed, which was about a killer marijuana plant that had come from outer space, Invasion of the Body Snatchers style, and started wreaking havoc on Earth. He invited me to some art house type venue where he was going to be showing it soon. I didn't get the opportunity to make it to the event, and I wish I had, because he was an interesting and quirky guy and I have a feeling there would have been some b-movie gold somewhere in there.

Anyway, I've searched online and all I can come up with is the 2007 movie. It's probably just so incredibly obscure that I probably won't be able to find it. I figured I'd give you good folks a shot. Anybody ever heard of the one I'm talking about from the early 90's? If I were to guess, I would say it was probaby about '91 or '92. It's worth a shot.

Its possible he never got a distributer...so it remains in limbo. It takes money . DEVIL WOLF OF SHADOW MOUNTAIN was a Gary Kent/Bud Cardos film made in 1964-I have pics of it in an old HORROR MONSTERS magazine from the time-it never got picked up by a distributer. It takes money.
