So my favourite comic book character will be back at the start of next year for another CGI suck-fest. It follows on from the first film whereby Johnny Blaze has exiled himself in Europe and is then forced to fight the devil [ ]. The thing is, the directors/producers have stated that it's not a sequel or a "reboot".....so what the hell is it guys? I was reading an interview with them in Empire magazine and they came across like giddy schoolboys that have crawled so far up Nicholas Cage's ass that their rose-tinted glasses have turned brown.

Make it dark, make it gritty, use some practical effects and use the source material for once in your live$ or don't bother...

Its made by the 'Crank' people so I actually have some high hope that this will kick arse.
I thought the first Crank was balls-to-the-wall action fun.

Still, I'm not the biggest Cage fan though.
I liked 'Raising Arizona' and 'Leaving Las Vegas' and thats about it...

Cage was great in Adaptation. and The Family Man too IMO. Personally I tend to like him in films but sometimes his performance just isn't quite up in the same level ...

Cage was pretty good in Kick-Ass and he was entertaining for me in Con Air, however, I have no interest in Ghost Rider.  Not my type of comic and not my type of film.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Ghost Rider was a terrible movie.  I might give this new one a chance since it's a different group of folks making it, but I won't get my hopes up too high.

Nicholas Cage just doesn't suit action movies in any way. He's much better doing black comedies than this comic book, fantasy stuff. Nearly all the films he's made within the past decade have been atrocious.

I liked Ghost Rider, but I thought it was kinda lacking in the fight scene department.
