THE RING - When the ghost crawls out of the TV.  Classic chills, although not really a jump scare per se.

Back in the day I saw the trailer for this with a packed house. When the guy started shaking I think the crowd collectively thought what the hell's wrong with this guy? Then BOOM! The whole place screamed. I think Cronenberg would have been proud.
