This is neat, because when we take the kids to the beach our most likely destination is Cape Henlopen State Park.  It's the place to go here if you like the beach and sand, with no commercial developments around.  There is an ocean side with dunes, a good stretch of beach, and waves.  We often see porpoises while there.  At the north end of the park there is a sheltered bay with a lighthouse.  The little bay is shallow quite a ways out, and the kids like to go searching for live animals in the water and empty shells to collect.  When there, we're often between 1 and .5 kilometers from where the turtle made her nest.

Yes, the eggs hatched in December.  I hope that some of the baby turtles make it to adulthood after being driven South to NC and released.

Pretty neat. I wish I had someplace like that to go to, but, alas, I am in the desert.
I don't always talk about bad movies, but when I do, I prefer badmovies.org
