I am at my wits on trying to figure out the name of this film. Its an Horror Anthology from the 80s.

I remember in one of the stories a man Hitch Hiking murders a woman, then later his is picked up by an old man that takes him back to his house to eat Chilli. The woman the Hitch Hiker murdered reappears and when he tries to kill her again she becomes a Demon. He finds out that he is the one actually dead and is in Hell.

Please Help  :buggedout:

Sounds like NIGHTMARES to me.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

I seen NIGHTMARES! All I can rember (this was long ago inna 80's) was the eppisode with Emilo Estaves and the killer video game, and Lance Hendrickson as a preacher man.
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

No it wasnt Nightmares. I got it in my collection.

IT was an anthology and low budget, but I do remember that my mom bought it on VHS for me at our local Walmart. If Walmart sold it had to be somewhat known.

The Hitchhiker one is the only one I can recall in detail. I also remember at the end of it The Hitchhiker thinks he was just dreaming about being in Hell but two demons pull up in a cop car and start beating and taunting him.

I also remember bits and pieces from another tale in the movie. It shows a UFO and what looked like some type of creature on a life support machine.

One more thing the old man that takes the Hitchhiker back to his house always called him sunny. He also made him Sweet and Sour Chilli lol. It was a really weird anthology but I want to find it soooo bad. I have been searching for it for years now.

Shadow

I believe this is Terrifying Tales from 1989.

A IMdb user review mentions the story about the hitchhiker:

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

:bouncegiggle: Wow thats it. Thank you so much Shadow. I can't believe after searching and asking online someone finally knew what I was talking about. This search has been so frustrating and long that that I actually started wondering if I was mistaking a dream for reality lmao.

Now I am going to have to get my VCR out of the attic because it is only on VHS lol.

Thanks a Million Man.
