Was not sure if these films belonged in good movies or bad movies. This is a matter off opinyion, And I guess these films got a lot off critisim for all the gore and horror. So I guess since these films are rather underground and independant... I figured they belong here...

I never had much courage to sit through these films, I nearly gaged watching a clip from Flower of Flesh and Blood. However I love Strange movies, the other films in the series after Flower of Flesh and Blood, seem like they are still grusome... But very strange. And uniqe. I love those films that kinda break the mold.

These other films are films such as Android of Notre Dame, Devil Woman Doctor and Mermaid in a Manhole... Even He Never Dies sounds not as bad. Does anyone know where a good place I can my hands on these films and is someone who has seen them who know if they are they worth it ???

That depends if you have a snuff fetish or not. Japan does. I have watched the first in this series and it is kinda like that channel in VIDEODROME. No real point besides seeing how long somebody can survive while you slowly take them apart.

Good point, I am mainly concerned about the story line and message in the movies, more than the other aspects off the movie. Maybe they are not for me. I can see why someone may be interested in these films however.

I have not seen them myself.  However, you can find them on Amazon from time to time for not too bad a price especially used.  Which, I don't like buying without seeing.  Yet, they have been excellent condition so far when I have purchased.  While I haven't seen them, I would say go for it.  I always question whether I should have spent money seeing something, but on the other hand I would still have that want to see it that would nag at me if I didn't do it.  If nothing else research which movies interest you in the series, then ask why you want to see it.  If it is to have an experience seeing something bizarre and makes you question things I would definitely make the jump.  Experiences and thoughts are always worth making the leap for in our time.  We need to have them.  We learn.  We adapt.  We sometimes want to search ourselves and we find so much more from doing it.  If I were you I would make the jump, if it was me even if someone told me it is terrible I would still question myself for not having had the experience.

Just my thoughts I hope they help.
Ah, the good old days.

I prefer amazon to do online shopping for things like Books, CD's and DVD's. So I do trust Amazon.com And anything can be found on their. Despite the fact I doubt I coudl stomach these movies I am still a bit intrigued by what they may be like. Better to try it I guess? anyways you did give me a lot to think about.
