Why is it in every film, the villains have a tremendous advantage over the heroes?

One word: drama.

You annoy us, Wyre.  Go away. :tongueout:

I have 4 words for you:  DON'T READ MY POSTS.
Babe, I'm leaving.  I must be on my way.  The time is drawing near.  The train is going.  I see it in your eyes.  The love beneath your tears.  And I'll be lonely without you.  And I'll need your love to see me through.  So please me.  My heart is your hands.  And I'll be missing you...

I'm going to assume someone already said this, but its because people almost always root for an underdog and want to see them over come there problems. Its also easier to relate to someone who isn't perfect because well most of us aren't perfect.

Its a plot device, been used since fiction started.
