Action movie from 80's: two asians, one bold one young

I watched when I was little.
Two Asians - young and older, older completely bold. They were fighting. I remember a scene on wire (an acrobat?) and a part with buried in the sand little remote control cars that were used to fight with true cars (police cars?). I have no idea what was the title, but would love to watch again :)

One of my favourite movies as a kid!  Absolutely hilarious with lots of funny gimmicks.  In the beginning someone is trying to kill him with a series of remote controlled helicopters that join together to become a Japanese-style robot!
